Printing- New development
A day trying out my new screens and the start of colour and composition development onto cloth. I pretty interesting start I think.

Henry Moore- Prints and Portfolios
I visited the Henry Moore Institute yesterday to see the Henry Moore Prints and Portfolios exhibition.
As printmaking is becoming more and more an integral part of my work, in both producing design work/drawing and as a final process onto cloth, coupled with my new discovery of the little know textile work of Henry Moore, this exhibition thoroughly inspired me.
Interesting to be exposed to such a collection of lithographic prints, a process I know very little about and would like to research more.
Here are a few of my favourites from the show.

Concrete Inspiration
I've decide to go right back to the drawing board, exactly for that reason, I need to draw more!
Looking back on previous research I realised that concrete has always been a subliminal inspiration to me for some time, these photographs were taken in London, (Commercial Road to be exact) early last year.
Lets see where these take me.

Concrete Project
Finally feels like I'm getting somewhere this week with the new project I'm exploring!
And odd one to be inspired by but I can't seem to get enough of high-rise flats, all things concrete and texture.
The studio is now filled with monochromatic mark making and collographic printing, really trying to explore printmaking to influence screen printing.
Just need to pull some of it together now to develop into designs..............
